Free Consultation
Let’s Connect! Schedule a free consultation today. Together, we can discuss your concerns and determine whether a speech and/or language assessment is recommended.
Evaluations
Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE):
Speech-language evaluations include a parent/caregiver interview to gather background information and current concerns, observation, informal assessment(s), and/or formal standardized assessment(s). The evaluation allows us to identify your child's speech and language strengths and weaknesses. An evaluation report will be written including a summary of the evaluation along with recommendations. If intervention is recommended based on the evaluation, a treatment plan will be created. This plan will include specific goals to address your child's areas of difficulty. If you have a current evaluation report from school or another provider or an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), we may be able to use that information as a baseline to begin services.
Therapy
The fun part! We provide individualized 1:1 speech and/or language intervention in the client's home or via teletherapy services. The frequency (sessions per week) and duration (length of treatment) will be determined based on the evaluation and the specific needs of your child. Sessions are typically 45-50 minutes long. They include structured activities and/or play based learning to address the goals outlined in the treatment plan. Parent/caregiver involvement is expected, as you are a crucial part of your child's speech and language development. In office sessions coming soon!
AAC Services
We provide Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) evaluations to determine the most appropriate method(s) of communication for children with limited verbal speech. AAC can include, but is not limited to, gestures, sign, pictures, communication boards, and speech-generating devices. Based on your child's individual needs, a plan for acquiring and using an AAC system will be created.
